Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This policy explains what information Global Connection collects when you visit globalconnection.info, how we use it and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Global Connection (“we”, “us”) is an independent website about online privacy and VPN services, available at globalconnection.info. It is operated by [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY], based in [YOUR COUNTRY], who is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

You can reach us at YOUR-EMAIL.

2. Information we collect

Technical data from your visit. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you load a page — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, the page that referred you, and the date and time. We use it only to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.

Usage data, if you accept analytics cookies. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages they view, which links and buttons they click, how long they stay, their approximate location (such as country or city, based on IP address) and their device and browser type. We look at this data in aggregate, to improve the site.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

We don't ask for, and don't knowingly collect, sensitive information such as health data, payment details or government ID numbers.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager, a Google tool that loads other tools on our pages, to run Google Analytics. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and basic technical details.

Analytics cookies stay off until you accept them. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which help tell visits apart. They last up to 2 years. If you reject or ignore the banner, these cookies aren't set, although Google's tags may still send limited signals without cookies, such as the time of the visit, your browser type and your cookie choice.

Your cookie choice. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask again on every page. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you change your mind and reject, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

We don't use advertising or social media tracking tools. If we add other tools in the future, we'll update this policy and our cookie banner first. Our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary technologies to protect the site against abuse and attacks.

4. Fonts loaded from Google

Our pages use fonts from Google Fonts, which are loaded from Google's servers. When your browser loads them, it connects to Google and shares your IP address and basic technical details, such as your browser type, so the fonts can be delivered. The fonts don't set cookies on our site. To learn how Google handles this information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

6. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • deliver the website and keep it secure and working properly;
  • understand how the site is used and improve it, if you accept analytics cookies;
  • reply to messages you send us;
  • meet our legal obligations.

Where data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or Brazil's LGPD apply, we use analytics cookies only with your consent. For everything else, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure, working website and answering your messages, and on legal obligations where they apply.

7. How we share information

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share information only:

  • with service providers that help us run the site — our hosting and email providers, and Google for Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics — which process it on our behalf;
  • with authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others;
  • with a new owner, if the site is sold or transferred, who must continue to protect it in line with this policy.

8. How long we keep information

Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider and then deleted. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics keeps detailed usage data for up to 14 months, depending on our settings, and its cookies last up to 2 years unless you delete them or withdraw consent. We keep emails only as long as we need them to handle your request, unless we must keep them longer to meet a legal obligation.

9. International transfers

Our service providers, including Google, may store or process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live — for example, in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Brazil or certain US states — you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it, or ask us to delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • receive a copy in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.

To withdraw consent to analytics cookies, use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page. For other requests, email YOUR-EMAIL. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond. You can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Do Not Track. Our site doesn't respond to Do Not Track browser signals. Instead, analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them in our cookie banner.

11. Security

Our site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and our site, and we limit who can access our systems. No website or email service is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on the site.

14. Contact us
